But Pastor Dapena reminds us that before all that could happen, Jesus had to be born in Bethlehem to fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament. The thing that occurred that was mysterious, and allowed the birth to happen as prophesied, was that Caesar Augustus ordered the first census.
